Wow, flavor and spice bomb.
A nurse from the building next door recommended this place.
My sister and i were craving Indian cuisine so, we ordered more than we needed.
I ordered the $9.99chicken paratha wrap which is an Indian burrio and its fabulous. Its a buttery crispy indian tortilla stuffed with tandori chicken and pickled onions ad i comes with a cool tangy cilantro sauce. I ordered another to- go for my hubby's lunch.
My sister and I shared the wrap as an appetizer.
She order the $12.99 beef lunch combo and i got the $13.99 lamb lunch combo. Both came with tasty rice, delicious minced beef/lamb kabob, curry with beef/lamb and few pieces of meat on the rice and thick fresh naan.
We really enjoyed everything. We were the first people in there but then more and more people showed up and there was a lot of to- go orders. So, don't feel uncomfortable..the owner is very nice and made us feel right at home.
Plus, she informed us of the use of grass fed beef and lamb and all natural chicken and farm to table veggies. She is proudly serving real Indian/Pakistani home cooking. -

Its been more than couple of months since i have been to this place owing to mostly the erratic timings during afternoon. Google claims that this place is open at 11 while twice i went there and it was closed and there were few unfortunate patrons wondering what happened as they came to the place based on recommendations.
Today i called and they said its open and refused to acknowledge that they missed opening on time last month. Nevertheless, i went there at 12:30 PM and still the lunch buffet was not kept there. when it was served, i noticed that chicken tikka was cold while the veg samosa and seekh kebab was missing.
I was told that veg samosa is served only during specials and seekh kebab will take some time. Kebab didnt even made it to the table till i was almost full. The same rice has chicken, goat and veg pieces placed in to make it three types of biryani. Also, the same cold chicken tikka was in the gravy to term it as chicken tikka masala. There was no sweet dish there.
The owner was so rude that we didnt even feel like going and complaining that the sweet dish is not there.
The service was abysmal. When we asked for water, we were told to go fill it up ourselves at the buffet table. when we asked for Samosa, we were told that there is enough food for the price.
The host may be a good cook but the taste is not worth the arrogance and lack of service.
I would anyday go to Anjappar which opened nearby last month and serves with a warm smile not a scorn and frown on the face.
I wish i can give 1 star but i will give 2 just because of the decent goat biryani. Definitely not worth $13 plus taxes and tip. -

A cute little restaurant I found when I looked up curry when I was in Tustin.
Although I was initially attracted by the curry wraps, I'm very fond of goat curry, and that's what I ended up having. It was pretty good, and the portion was fairly large (Rice is ordered separately, but that, too, is a big portion). The person serving me was very nice, but the service itself takes a rather long time, though I don't mind that much.
If I'm in the area again, I'd stop by. -

The attitude of the owner aunty is a big turn off
Although the food is good but she treats the desi customers like garbage for me she sounded like a greedy and very rude person I experienced it two times and then I stopped going.two stars for the food -

This hole in the wall place is one of my favorites for Pakistani cuisine. I am a huge fan of their chicken briyani (the chicken is so tender and falls off the bones) and the beef silver spoon wrap. I also like the nehari which seems like a beef stew for me. I wouldn't get it if you don't like oily soups but I find the flavor delicious.
Also they have a wonderful Sunday brunch for a very fair price! They have all the dishes I love (minus the silver spoon wrap) and then some! It's a great a way to try many traditional dishes! I absolutely love the chicken and lamb korma, the tandoori chicken, and all of the curries! They also have a special bread you can eat with the breakfast dishes that is very flakey and delicious!
The staff is friendly and really passionate about their food. I enjoyed learning a lot about the dishes and how they cook them. Not everyone interacts with their customers a lot but they really step up their customer service and are hardworking individuals. They try to remember what you like and give a lot of suggestions on what else to try.
